Scrap and Sew Craft Retreat Get Away to Be Creative in Oregon

November 3-5, 2023

Join fellow scrapbookers, quilters, knitters, crocheters, finger weavers, etc., for a great weekend away creating. You may opt to come for either one or two nights.

Relax in this beautiful setting and let Menucha’s staff take care of the cooking and cleaning. Focus on doing something you love: sewing, creating albums, making cards or other crafts that remind everyone who sees them of life’s little blessings.

Newcomers are always welcome! Come by yourself or bring a friend. Bring other members of your family and start a relationship-building retreat tradition you will never forget.

  • Digital scrapbookers: Complimentary Wifi is available; please consider uploading your digital photos ahead of time since multiple mass uploads over our system can slow things down a bit.
  • Paper scrapbookers: There will be a swap table for supplies, some shared tools for your use, and optional supplies for purchase from the weekend host.
  • Knitters/Crocheters: Sit by our fire (or out on the terrace in nice weather) and let the conversation (or stillness) wrap around you as your endeavors take shape.
  • Quilters and Sewers: Bring your own sewing machine and supplies. Menucha has one ironing board and iron we can set up to share; please let us know ahead of time if they are needed.
  • Model-making: Recently we had a model-maker come for a crafty weekend; if more of you are out there, feel free to sign up and request a separate crafting space and we’ll see what we can do.
  • Other crafts? Come and join us! Call 503-695-2243 and let us know what kind of space you need.
