Director of Development and Communications
Overlooking the scenic Columbia River Gorge, Menucha Retreat and Conference Center is seeking an energetic and enthusiastic person to help us fulfill our mission of enriching lives through hospitality, learning, reflection and renewal. As part of the team ushering this historic venue into a new chapter, you will be responsible for helping secure financial support, developing strong relations with and implementing effective ways to keep donors and constituents engaged. This position requires a person that has exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, has a heart for people and will be a team player.

Part-time Facilities Staff

Day shift
Duties
- Ensure guest rooms, meeting rooms, buildings and grounds are clean, safe and welcoming.
- Responsible for cleaning guest rooms, changing and laundering guest linens, and setting up chairs and tables in the meeting spaces.
- Employees will climb stairs, lift and carry up to 50lbs, handle cleaning chemicals and work in a standing position for extended periods of time.

Duties
- Scratch cooking and baking with fresh ingredients.
- Responsible to prep, cook, and serve 10 to 160 guests.
- Current knowledge of food allergens and other dietary restrictions.
- Daily communication with Food Service Manager.
Requirements

- Basic commercial kitchen skills required, 2 years line cook experience preferred.
