Full-Day Wedding at Menucha

Monday-Wednesday: $2,500

Friday: $3,000 

Saturday: $3,500

Sunday and Holiday: $3,200

A full-day wedding rental is 9 am - 9 pm. We offer five beautiful outdoor sites and one elegant indoor site for ceremonies:

  1. Wright Hall’s Great Hall
  2. Wright Hall's Terrace with Columbia River view westward
  3. Pool area with Gorge view eastward
  4. Labyrinth and rose garden
  5. Oak tree lawn 
  6. Sycamore tree lawn 

Your fee includes rental and set-up by Menucha staff of:

  • Podium (if desired)
  • Sound system with one corded or wireless microphone and stand for the officiant
  • Up to 25 chairs.  If you require more chairs, Menucha will provide them for an additional cost. 
  • One white 10 X 10 tent, if requested, to cover the couple and officiant. If you require more tents, Menucha will rent them for an additional cost.
  • Separate dressing areas for the couple

We will only host one full-day wedding group per day. Your rental allows 12 hours of use, 9 am - 9 pm on the day of the event, as well as a 2-hour rehearsal time scheduled by Menucha on a Thursday prior to your event.

Elopement Wedding at Menucha

Want to have a ceremony now and a celebration later? Then our 4 hour elopement wedding package is just for you.

$2000 for maximum of 15 people and 4 hours

We offer five beautiful outdoor sites and one elegant indoor site for your ceremony.

Your fee includes 4 hours at Menucha and set-up by Menucha staff of:

  • Podium (if desired)
  • Sound system with one corded or wireless microphone and stand for the officiant
  • Up to 15 chairs
  • One white 10 X 10 tent, if requested, to cover the couple and officiant. If you require more tents, Menucha will rent them for an additional cost.
  • One 6 X 8 side table with white tablecloth 
  • 3 bottles of sparkling cider, glasses, forks, plates, napkins
  • Separate dressing areas for the couple

Your fee allows you 4 hours onsite, to be scheduled in advance, in the window of 9 am to 9 pm.

Financial Details - "The Fine Print" - for all Menucha Weddings

A security deposit of $1,000 is required to reserve your date. It is refundable after your event as long as there is no damage, no excessive clean up required, and everyone has departed the property by 9 pm for all day weddings or, for elopements, by the agreed upon time.  Damage will be billed at cost and additional time will incur additional rental fee and staffing charges ($25/hour per each staff member present). The deposit is not refundable if you cancel your event; however, in the unlikely case that Menucha has to cancel your event it will be fully refunded. 

 After your date has been secured, the Wedding Coordinator will send an invoice for the wedding fees. We can set up a payment plan if there is enough time to complete payment by 45 days prior to your event. 

We appreciate payment by check, money order or cashier’s check. If you will be paying by credit card, a 3% surcharge will be added.

 

Event Insurance

Menucha’s insurance does not provide insurance for wedding rentals, so it is the responsibility of the renter to provide this additional insurance. If you are a homeowner, this additional insurance certificate is usually provided at no additional cost by your insurance company. You can also obtain insurance for a reasonable rate at theeventinsurance.com. Renter must provide proof of event insurance at least one week before the wedding. 

  • Menucha Retreat and Conference Center should be named as “An Additional Insured.”
  • The general liability insurance policy shall cover bodily injury and property damage in an amount no less than one million dollars ($1,000,000) with a general aggregate limit of at least two million dollars ($2,000,000). Members of the wedding party shall be responsible for insuring any of your personal property that may be brought onto the premises. Policy must release Menucha from any damages to such property arising on or about Menucha’s premises from any cause.
  • If you will be serving alcohol, the policy must include a host liquor liability insurance rider.

 

Make it Official

Say yes! Once you've toured Menucha and talked with Lauren Deming or Lori Nance, you have the option to place a tentative hold on your preferred date for five business days.

After we’ve talked through your needs and preferences, when you're ready to commit, we’ll record those details in a contract and send it for your signature. Your event is official when you return the signed contract with the $1,000 security deposit.

This deposit is in addition to the rental fee and is refundable after your event as long as there is not any damage or excessive clean up and all guests have departed by 9 pm (or for elopements, by the agreed upon time). The deposit is not refundable if you cancel your event; in the unlikely case that Menucha has to cancel your event, it will be fully refunded.
