Learn to add cables to your knitting with Rob Brereton!
Knit a nifty mug cozy while learning how to use a cable needle.
You’ll learn back cables, or right crossing cables, and front cables, or left crossing cables. Once you learn the basics, the rest is easy.
You’ll need to know how to cast on, knit, purl, and cast off. This class will take care of the rest.
This class will meet for two nights for about an hour.
Cost is $10 for the class
We'll supply the instruction, you bring the needles and yarn!
What you'll need to have for class:
- Number 10 needles (6mm, straight or circular)
- 1 cable needle, approximately the size of a number 10 needle. The size is not critical though.
- about 60 yards of aran or worsted weight yarn (yarn needs to be divided into two balls because we will double strand)
